So, like everyone else's flist, mine's been inundated with Supernatural episode reactions.

Here's another. I LOVED IT. HATERS TO THE LEFT, PLS.

No, seriously. That episode was amazing. I loved Castiel finally coming to terms with something he'd been worried about. I loved the way they had Dean as the cause of all of it, which sucks for him, but it's awesome for the show. And I kind of liked Anna's role in it. I still don't really like her all that much, but I liked that she was the last-ditch effort for Castiel; I loved her reaction when he nearly pleaded for orders.

I loved that he just wanted to serve his Father, and even that wasn't possible because they have no idea if He even exists. Castiel is one of the most heartbreaking characters on the show. Dean is the world's whipping boy, and Sam...

Sam. I loved Sam in this episode. I loved how he's pretty much become a junkie, and how weird is that? I loved that he CAN KILL DEMONS NOW. HOLY SHIT. SAMMY, IF YOU WEREN'T HOT BEFORE, HOLY SHIT YOU ARE NOW. I loved his reaction to Castiel in the hospital.

I even liked Ruby in this, and how she helped, and I liked the blood thing muchmuch more than whatever else they could have done. And were rumored to be doing. Even though Sam's a total junkie now.

I loved that Uriel ended up being a sympathizer, and that now he's dead, even though I think it would have been really interesting to explore that. Although, I really am relieved that he's dead.

Which brings me to Alistair, who was really just hilarious. I found myself laughing at his one-liners, through the tears. I'm kind of sad that he's dead, because the actor was excellent, and I liked the character. Of course, on that same note, I'm relieved that he's dead, because it's better for Castiel and Dean and Sam.

EDIT of the morning after, when I see everything more clearly, and it's all caps: SAMMY, YOU ARE WILLINGLY DOING TO YOURSELF WHAT AZAZEL DID TO YOU. REMEMBER HOW YOU FREAKED OUT WHEN YOU FOUND OUT? AND THEN YOU LEFT DEAN IN THE HOSPITAL ALONE WITH CASTIEL, WHO YOU HAD JUST REAMED FOR MAKING BAD DECISIONS WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR BROTHER. I MEAN, SERIOUSLY? SAM, WHAT IS GOING ON IN THAT PRETTY LITTLE HEAD OF YOURS? I ADORE YOU, AND I'M SURE YOU MEAN WELL, OR...WAIT. LAST WEEK, I WAS SURE YOU MEANT WELL. NOW I DON'T THINK THAT EVEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. I STILL LOVE YOU, THOUGH. GO DIRECTLY TO REHAB, JUNKIE. DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. DID YOU SEE THE LOOK OF BARELY CONCEALED TERROR ON CASTIEL'S FACE AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ALISTAIR? DO YOU WANT TO BE THE CAUSE OF THAT?

Omg this episode was awesome. Way too much hotness for me to handle in one episode. I love how dean was the first seal broken and we now know it was all apart of lilith's plan. I feel so bad for dean though that poor boy always carryong the weight of the world on his shoulders. Now I'm wondering if my suspicions about ruby have been right all along. I really think she's been working with lilith since last season.

So many people are saying that now. Which would be awesome, I think, because how utterly devastated would Sam be? It would be perfect. I don't understand what their aim is, because he can kill demons now, so...a fallen angel hates what he's made and what he's become, so he wants the perfect vessel (Sam) who also has the power to kill demons? Lucifer undoes all his hard work and wants to be accepted into God's arms again?

Or can Sam also take apart angels, and that was the barely concealed terror on Castiel's face after Sam finished working over Alistair?

Or...something else? Sam's going further and further, gone so far that he leaves Dean in a hospital for fuck knows what. I just can't figure out what they're doing with Sam, because he's so obviously going to the dark side. I just can't figure out what they're aiming for.

I dunno I think this is all going back to john's original deal. I think azazel and lilith were working together to start breaking the seals. I also think that sam was meant to be more than just a leader of a demon army and that its always been dean's fate to fight his brother. maybe there was more to mary telling dean that angels were watching over him just to get him to go to sleep. im thinking she knew what their fates were.
